Need to travel outside these times? No worries! Transfers are available every 25 minutes from the Gries bus stop, a quick 5-minute walk from the train station. Visitor Center Buses: During peak season, buses from the visitor center depart every 25 minutes, offering a convenient way to reach Eisriesenwelt. In the pre and off-season, catch a bus once per hour at 32 minutes past. And remember, the last bus down leaves at 17:32. Choose your ride wisely and make your journey to Eisriesenwelt a breeze!

As soon as we got the tickets, we dropped our baggage in the paid storage and started our hike by hitting the trail, winding through sunlit meadows straight out of a fairy tale. The backdrop? Majestic snow-capped peaks framing our adventure. 
After a brisk 20-minute hike, we’re greeted with a short cable car ride before another brief 20-minute trek. Here, you can opt for the adventurous real hike path or stick to the normal path through the caves, like we did.

As we journey deeper, the cave’s intricate alignments mesmerize us, guiding our path through a maze of frozen wonders.
